This exercise is notable due it being the first time the Ukrainian Army PSYOPS soldiers have participated in a NATO exercise. The exercise has been described as a fundamental part of training for rotating units based in Europe. The exercise is being conducted into what will be the US army largest deployment to Europe later this year in Defender 2020. Combined Resolve can give us a taste of what we can expect to see later this year.
